Customs 59 Ranchero hood

Looking for a 59 Ranchero hood that I can get for the hubby for Christmas. Doesn't have to be perfect but would like it to be fairly good since his vo-tech students are building it with him. Afraid of being scammed so I didn't post thread on Classified.

 

The hood does not need to be Ranchero specific. Any Sedan 2 door or 4 door will fit.

I know of some in Ohio but the condition would be questionable,a local of junkyard has a few 59s.

 

Try the classifieds parts for sale and post a ad in the wanted section. HRP

Owens has or had 3 or 4 '59 Fords when I was looking for parts for mine. The bottom of those hoods tend to rust out, mine was an easy fix, so don't fear a little rust.

 

Where in Oklahoma? I know folks in several parts of the state and might be able to find you one close.

Edit: Dewey possibly? Just put two and two together maybe...

And, I may have a lead on one in Oklahoma.

 

Dewey is very close, yes. Duke is one of the Stray Kats. He bought a whole car looking for a hood, but knowing Duke he'll want to build both. If you know of one, please let me know. I'll post that he's found one or if he decides to part out one of the cars.
