    Wow ! What a conversation piece these boogered items are, perhaps like some of the NASCAR shops & museums that display confiscated illegal modifications to factory equipment....we need to establish a shameful sort of real item collection, not something we should be particularly proud of but none the less, the darker side we need to be aware of.

    A friend of mine is a plumber; he said everyone is so flat-out busy that a lot of the inspections on new construction are just being glossed over, so the contractors are getting away with some sketchy work. The worst part is that most homeowners and new home buyers don't have a clue; in the event something goes wrong, it's going to cost them a lot to have it redone properly. Homes aren't being built to a quality standard; they are being thrown together in a matter of days to maximize profit margins. The same can be said of many goods and services these days...

  3. Ninety plus years is a long time for people to make modifications of all sorts, some might be considered improvements, some not. Parts were not so readily available in the pre internet/ amazon days. By the way- it wasn’t me.
