Hey all, Just a guy sneaking up on middle age trying to figure out how to put together a 39 Mercury project my Dad put on hold when kids like me came along. All has been been painted except for a rear fender and the hood, which were from a donor. The engine is a mid-40's 59AB with a 3 bolt cam cover, so I'm looking to use the diver's helmet distributor on it. Engine's been rebuild in the late 70's and stored since then - all is clean inside and turns over by hand. I've got experience on the mechanical side, but not as much on the body/interior. Looking forward to checking out the work done around here, and trying to decipher between the old wives tales and the wisdom earned from experience! Marty
