I haven't touched this in sometime.
House projects, etc. have taken up most of my spare time. @Nailhead A-V8 the banger is actually really good and I'm going to try and run it.
I think I have just about everything to put the motor back together except a good carburetor and water pump. Thanks for checking in

I happened upon a new thread from @frenchtownflyer I believe stating we should update our dead in the water build threads. So, here it is. . . . Still on the back burner. Currently on the front burners are 1-a friend's 56 Dodge truck that needs brakes, fuel system, glass replaced, get it safe, etc.
2- my house. . . . Exterior clapboard replacement before it was painted. Interior Plastering ( was going very well but now they have to redo the stairwell). All the walls, ceiling work before they showed up. 3- my damned roadster, that car was awesome until it didn't want to run anymore. 4- another future car project ( the humble beginnings of a hot rod)
So, I have been a busy guy, just not on the coupe.

Thanks for the update. I was compelled to do the same after last weekend. Good to see you again. Can’t wait to see this thing tearing up pavement.

  4. Thanks for the update Ron. keep up the good on the house and the cars, but remember-

Of course your wife may make you live in the car, if you apply this theory!

Been spending a bit of time in the garage and driveway this week. I'm walking by and occasionally bumping into the chassis countless times in the last few days.
Some may have seen that I have this for sale in the classifieds but no takers. I think I am going to slam it together this winter. 20211128_102630.jpg 20211128_102649.jpg 20211128_102809.jpg 20211124_162055.jpg 20211124_162058.jpg 20211124_161505.jpg 20211115_174118.jpg

Some day I'll have a 30-31 coupe project, but need to focus on the unfinished stuff I have.

  8. That A coupe project looks a lot like the one I have waiting for me in my shed! My buddy calls it “the puzzle”.

I love these kinds of builds. Rescuing the stuff that seems un-salvageable. I've got a few panels like these for my coupe projects that hopefully I'll have time to build someday. This is going to be a great car and big props for all the work you've put into it already. Keep up the good work!
