not quite, it only has one motor as the rear "hood" is a trunk. i wish it was nicer, but 60 years as an attraction piece next to ohios salty winters has done it no good.
I am getting too old for projects, but would look long and hard at that! New frame and drive train, salvage the body, wouldn't see another at a show!
i went back and asked about a price, i thought about 750 since its mostly parts, they told be "its not for sale". sad to see it keep rotting
Someone should print a pamphlet called; "WHEN YOUR CAR/TRUCK IS TOO FAR GONE TO SAVE" Then we could hand it out to those "not for sale" or "gonna fix it up someday" guys. Maybe it would help some of those folks to realize time is running out (or has run out) before their prized possession is nothing more than a pile of scrap metal.
same thing is happening to a (rumored to be) 68 4 speed hemi challenger not too far from this, been sitting in a field for decades, owner wont let anyone close to it.
47? im not the best with this era. also, keep in mind its fully custom, its possible for them to be added after.
Could even be a '48. I've seen parts on all three ('46/'47/'48) years that would belie their actual year of manufacture or initial titling. I think Ford was still going by the mantra, "waste no part".
