have an opportunity to buy a couple engines. i know the heads have been used to do a Model A O'head conversion. is this still being done? don't want to buy then scrap if no one is doing this anymore. thanks, mike (the junkyard pirate)
Neal Jern was making a kit for model T and Model A conversion but he died. Don't know if anyone took over the business..
Those conversions were quite popular back when the earth was still cooling. Don't give up. I've seen parts available for this but I can't remember where. Do some more research. There has to be one of us old farts that have done this out there somewhere.
There is still a market for them with the Model T crowd, and the early Chevrolet guys want them because the '27 and earlier heads tend to crack around the single exhaust port, so it's helpful if you get the exhaust manifold as well. The last one I sold ( a of years ago) went for $100?
