Technical use a bead roller to put a flange on a panel?

On my Henry J, I made flanges to fasten the firewall to. The sides are just flat sheet metal, the bottom is an "L" shape and the top is a hammer formed "L" shapes. I believe NHRA specifies 20 gage steel, so that's what I used.
