Event Coverage *2021 Gathering at the Roc - Who's Going?*

I was surprised to not find any threads about the upcoming Gathering at the Roc event near Bartlesville, Oklahoma. .. So, I guess I'll start one.

Last year was great and I imagine this year will be even better! I had intended to drive my roadster down (six hours from home) last year, but the cold weather stopped that plan. Drove the comfy and warm '62 Ford wagon instead.

We have a crew from Omaha coming down again. Looking forward to a good road trip.
I imagine there are a large number of HAMB members that will be there.

I will be there in my Y block powered A coupe along with @wdglide Phil Shevlin in his Hemi powered A coupe, both driven from Knoxville Tn.

I plan to be there. Ten day trip. Doing the double, on the way home, stopping at the Early Tin Duster's Fall Color Run in Quincy, IL the following weekend.

We will be there with the Lavender Lady. Hoping this year it won’t pull an Ol Faithful right smack dab in the middle of the festivities. Lol.

Surely there are more HAMBers than this going. The whole show is HAMB-friendly with lots of quality cars (other than mine that is).

 

Right! I imagine the majority of people registered/attending are or were HAMB members. It seems as though some just don't browse or participate here anymore, which is unfortunate.

 

I killed all social media so I'm here a lot more. I don't regret it.

I will be there with my 1951 Mercury. Even though I haven’t had any luck finding a nice place to stay since the host hotel filled up so quick. Might sleep in the Merc!

You should join us! Looks like a good road trip, approx. 600 miles one-way for you.

 

I,d like to but I want to stay in the price tower and it was booked out so maybe next year.

I'll be leaving home in the '46 at 3 am Thursday, will drive to Sioux Falls to meet my Buddy Darrel and two of his Buddy's from Rapid City. Plan on leaving SF about 6:30. Darrel will be driving his '32 Ford Tudor, 265, '39 trans, '40 rear, '35 Wires, Red Oxide paint, pretty hard to find a more "Traditional" build. I believe the other guys are Father and Son. One will be driving a Flathead powered '35 3 window and the other a '32/'34 Flathead powered Pickup. It's 680 miles from my house to Bartlesville, made the trip several times for the Straykat 500. Once we get into Nebraska we'll take Hwy. 15 into southern Kansas, work our way over to 99 and take it into Ok., then 60 right into Beautiful downtown Bartlesville!

 

Your bride seems to have taken over in your absence.

Wasn’t planning to attend but I’m headed up with the Murray Kustom Rods krew. Looking forward to it!
