32 Ford Magoo built chassis. Need to replace cap and rebuild master cylinder. I can probably get rebuild parts from local hydraulic shop. The cap I'm thinking is more specialized. I think the number reads 32178. 20210925_152702.jpg 20210925_152716.jpg 20210925_152719.jpg

I'm thinking I would like to go to a double master but I'm not sure how to size correctly. Disc's front and rear drums. The rest of the set up for you. 20210925_154347.jpg 20210925_154255.jpg

  4. Closest I could find. That number matches nothing in my parts store books, but, my copy is 1994, It is probably listed in an earlier edition

  5. Can you have a parts store look up the number?

  6. Looks 70s with the booster and extra stuff. You really just need to know caliper and wheel cylinder bore sizes. There are a lot cleaner ways to run brakes. With those sizes you can find the appropriate MC in power or manual. One question, does it stop ok now?

  7. Look at a Wagner F32900 or a Dorman M32900.

Maybe 1". I don't have snap ring pliers small enough today to get apart.

The pedal is a touch spongy but it stops great.

  10. Nailed it. Looks similar to the one I posted going backwards from an image search. Wagnerf32900. Photo from the HAMB

That's an early Mustang m/c commonly call the fruit jar m/c. Much used in the 70's with the inline booster. I haven't figured out what the other cylindrical item is. Some kind of accumulator? If you upgrade to a dual m/c you'll need to replace the booster with a combo unit.

edit: as usual Squirrel is faster than me

  14. Hahaha funny stuff. I dove right into my books instead of actually THINKING about what i was looking at. It does seem like I can not find the nice screw on lid anymore though!?

rockauto has pictures, some of them have the metal screw on lid. Of course, what you get might not be what's in the picture. But some of the rockauto stuff is old stock, so more likely. Or get one from a mustang resto place?

  16. That master cylinder came with a lot of different tops so don't be scared - just check that bore size....

  18. Might be the 39626 if yours is 7/8 bore as yours is using the "b-c" ports.
