Hot Rods Unisteer R&P

I’m wanting to instal a rack and pinion on my 30’ A and have a question about #91032245 from Speedway. I’m new to these cars and have no idea what steering components are on my car now. This kit says it is designed to replace a Vega box, how can I tell what I currently have and if it’s not a Vega box will this kit still work? Thanks

Do a search on the unisteer and folks have mixed feelings on the subject. My buddy had one on for a few weeks and took it off..

 

Lots of guys love them, personally I can’t stand them.
I don’t care if they work really well or not.
As far as I’m concerned they’re just another wart that doesn’t belong on a hot rod.
