History Tow Cars

Jim Price had a deluxe wagon to tow the T-Bolt.

 

58 YEARS AGO!!! Somewhere in Ohio, headed to INDY from Virginia!!

 

"They-say".........you could drive up to Detroit and pick a car up from the factory and save a bundle of$$$!
(NOT Johnny Cash One Piece at a Time either!)
Any truth to that?

my friend Don Stephenson won the L/stock 1969 Pomona Winternationals in his 57 Chevy "TENSION". his tow car was a 67 Chevelle with a 396/375HP. car was found 10yrs ago by Tony Beam in a farm field & restored to race condition. last pic is Don & Tony after restoration.

 

"L Stock"...man that brings back memories! I can remember watching a Simca Aronde racing a VW Beetel at York US30...X Stock!
