My ‘52 Tudor. Started with a $100.00 Fordomatic stocker when I was 12. Haven’t had her out in decades. A Tudor that’s not a Tudor but is a Tub…
well, it was a Tudor but now maybe it’s confused because it’s made of this, and that and something else

After a barn roof collapsed on it, what remained was left for dead for 20+ years. Unfortunately the body was laid over and resting in chicken crap for all of those lost years. The result was a crushed roof and you could easily see all of the way through the driver’s side rear quarter. It was being hauled off to the dump by the previous owner but was “rescued” then plopped on an old and worn out pair of 32 spaghetti framerails.

Two other trucks were built and sent down the road before it was started on again.

The remnants of the roof and driver’s side were cut off and suddenly it was a Tub. Look closely at the door posts. I morphed roadster door posts along with closed cab “Tudor” doors creating my own variation of a roadster having doors with an overlap in the hinge area. It’s got the stronger sedan hinges, the roadster windshield posts and longer doors all perched on original Henry 32 rails.

So, is it “traditional” uhh no…

but maybe yes! Hell who knows, but it was a Tudor once that was for sure…

Tell us more about that car. Looks like suicide doors, bobbed fenders. What a great find.
