I have a set of "47 Chevy coupe doors for sale. A question was asked if the doors would work on a "41 Chevy coupe if the fender extensions were removed. I believe they are the same but, I'd like to know for sure before selling. Thank you.

If you take the fender extension off you will see there is a small bump out on the lower front of the door. There will be a set of mounting holes there for the extension. The 41 will not have that feature. I'm pretty sure that is the only difference, but I would do a lot of measuring first. Good luck
My 46 Olds doors have reinforcement pressings in the skin behind the door cap, also the lower leading edge of the door has another pressing. I'd verify before committing. Here's a '41 Chevy coupe door, note the sweep at front leading edge to meet fender, there is no door cap or boot scraper panel bolted to rocker Here's a '47 Chevrolet door with cap and boot scraper panel bolted to rocker.
Here's a friend's car and new rust repair patch for his 47 Coupe ('A' body). Note the difference when compared to early door bottom. Slightly different to my 46 Olds ('B' body) with longer doors.
When you take the fender extension off the 47 Chevy coupe door, it has the same shape as your picture of the 41. What I'm not sure of is do the hinges and latches line up. For now I have just edited my ad to exclude 41s.
No expert however they're all 'A' bodies. On 41s the 'A' pillar was exposed as the fenders didn't extend into the doors. The hood and fenders on laters are different as is the cowl, the 'A' pillars are now hidden and not visible. Hopefully the door cap will bolt onto the early door and fit? Those pressing may have been introduced later to strengthen the door skins and remove any oil-canning effect?
Well I'll be damned. Just did a google search and found a pic of a 47 Chevy coupe without the fender extension bolted on, and sure enough, no protrusions on the bottom are visible! As far as latches and hinges you will have to measure to make sure, but I suspect the 41's are in the same location as the 47's
