Just got home from a nice event this evening in Colchester CT. Many nice cars, however so busy talking with people I hadn’t seen over the past year, I really didn’t get to see many of the vehicles. Here are a few from my perimeter walk. Will try harder next time!
^^ No but actually many of the HAMB friendly ones I was able to get to were. Saw a couple Willys gassers roll on but never got close enough to photo them. In all sincerity aside from a quick perimeter walk never really saw the inner field.
Looking forward to the resumption of the Connecticut Dragway Reunion on the 21st. At the North Haven Fairgrounds. Hopefully a slew of H.A.M.B. Friendly cars in the mix.
Any idea of if/when the September Sunday one will be held? Unless I get lucky (or unlucky, depending on circumstances), the Sunday one is the only one I can make all year. (I can't remember if it was last year or the year before, but there was one on a Saturday. It was cloudy and rainy all morning. I went down and there were 6 or 8 vehicles and that was it. Looked at them, Montville PD did a police dog demonstration, then it started to rain. I finished my cigar and went home.)
What a great cruise! The place was packed with really nice cars. Great to talk to you again Avater. Jim
It's just that Fords are the ONLY cars worth taking pictures of ...and ya gotta love a patina'd '35 Cabriolet
^^ love that Cabriolet. When he started it you could hardly hear it. Now for the folks looking for non- Fords, saw these this evening in Glastonbury at Hops on the Hill. Didn’t photo any Ford’s.
