Best explanation I've ever seen of how velocity can change in a drive shaft assembly....

 

Yeah that video is pretty good. Helps explain things to us simpletons. It's magic.

 

We have exactly the same setup in our class room, it works wonderfully to explain it

Used one of those many times in training classes. Our company had one at each training center.

 

Oscillating, almost
Constant Velocity.
Make the trans output, and the pinion input angles Equal and opposite, at loaded 'ride' height.
That way you cancel the occilation. Is said, joint angles of 3 degrees is sufficient to move lube in the joints.
"Hey Ned, confirm? Adjust?"

 

In addition to angles it should have addressed slope.
