    Memorial Day - We Pause & Remember

    Apparently, there is one particular fellow that appears in each of these two photos, can you find him ? Above best rifles platoon out of a company or larger. Below is a field platoon of Merrill's Marauders Field Training in India for assault into Burma circa December 43 / January 44 ... Appears there are no Boy Faces here ... what with being fresh out of living the great depression for 10 years and you thought 1 year with Covid has been rough.

    Photo was taken on the main straight at IMS in 1952. It was an advertisement for nylons. The model was a singer/actress named Monica Lewis. The car was a Kurtis Kraft roadster, possibly the one driven by Neal Carter[​IMG]
