My A was striped sometime in the early '60s.

Hey -Brent-, thanks for including our ‘56 on your thread! That pin striping was done in 1975-76 by McPeaks in Riverside California, when Bob Powers owned the car. Bob had bought the ‘56 a year early, and it was Moly Orange with the same pin striping, and lettering font, but was named “Soul’n Motion”. It had been raced as a D/Altered by Elliot Smith of West Covina, California. A year after Bob got it running, it was parked in his drive way, while his next door neighbors had their house re-stuccoed, and painted, an the ‘56 got covered in overspray! The neighbors paid to have it re-painted and striped, so it was painted the current maroon by Bobs Auto Body in Upland, California for $150, and re-striped and lettered by McPeaks for $125. While they were at it, Bob had the name changed to “Yesterdays Child”
