There is currently no limit, the only thing that might create a limit is lodging. Following the gospel since 2004
Here’s the link to the event page that has all the info, I’ll try to keep this thread updated as well. https://fb.me/e/d8e5cbGr7 Following the gospel since 2004
WOW .... you folks are enjoying your Hot Rods, I tip my hat to you and pray for safe travels for everyone. We all should be arranging these types of events all over the country. Thank you for sharing your plans.
We got through the first day and 250 or so miles. Only a few minor problems. Tomorrow we shall visit some national parks. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Day 2 we visited Capital Reef National park with an extended visit to work through what we thought was a carburetor issue but was actually an electrical connection issue. But none of that hampered the fun we all had. Then we headed down Scenic Highway 12 through Grand staircase Escalante. Were the only hiccup was my license plate falling off. Then it was on to Bryce Canyon, we were fighting to get there in the daylight so we didn’t get any pics of the cars in the park. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Great pics and it looks like a very cool trip. Just one question... is this supposed to be for pre'46 hot rods then why are there two OHV engines in your group, just curious. Must have been difficult to do that kind of trip over a hundred years ago with one horsepower!
The restriction is pre ‘46 cars not pre ‘46 parts. Just to keep people from showing up in their 50’s customs or 70’s Camaros and it’s worked well to this point. I can’t even imagine it being all dirt roads. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Cool. Sorta like the old "Mobil Economy Run". I drove my Moms 348 powered 58 Impala (black) back in 1969, last year of high school. Most of the kids drove slightly newer cars, but mine was the talk of the proverbial town. My mileage was not even close to winning anything, but we made all of the time slots but one, so we got second in that. The good ol days... Mike
Looks like it was a nice weekend for you guys. Were there more cars in attendance or just the 4 of you?
Just the four of us. Maybe more will show up next year but if not oh well. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
