so its been a damn long time since I had and progress or updates. been Fun year this year with life, but got some garage time in. Now I have never done body repair but have been reading and watch some stuff. so what better way then just getting into it so started with the quarter got it marked and old cut out. bottom of b pillar was shot. got some metal and @moparob happen to be coming by to check up on my and see how everything was going. he helped and walked me through the best way to fab the lower part I need to replace. last we got the body on the frame table! so until next update here's 335AA469-BE35-4C94-83B6-850793C7E126.JPG 06F85AA8-D05F-4EFA-AC91-2BF1CA3CB79E.JPG 1BAA0C5B-67DD-40BA-B2C1-1A93DAF6ACF7.JPG IMG_20180429_174233497.jpg Screenshot_20180503-110120.jpg couple pics

well few weekends ago same great buds came back out to help me get a jump start and motivated on getting this damn car built, didn't get any pics of all the action but we got the body squared and held in place to get it on the chassis to see how it would look, I got the body where I wanted it and started to repair the b pillar bottoms. in the pictures the front of the body was not where I wanted it. 6345.jpeg 4.jpeg 5.jpeg 6.jpg 7.jpg 8.jpg

slow time still but had a bud pick up a nice passenger side door for me. got it back to the house and got the old door off. the pins didn't want to move at all so on with the drilling. got the door back on. just need to adjust it a little and it will line up perfectly. now I can move on to the rest of the body work and patch panels. hot rod door.jpg output.jpg

So it's been 5years or about since I have started this project. I'll admit I bit off more than I could chew with body work.I have learned a lot. I have set a goal to have this done by next summer. I found a new body that is in great condition so it will help the goal tremendously. So here is a couple pictures from this weekend trip to get it. So along with the new body I have had a change of heart that will put the Tudor on a better path to hot rod material than the 351w and t5 engine and transmission combo. Welcome the 364 nailhead and Muncie 4speed. IMG_20190712_183239725_HDR.jpg IMG_20190712_174113280_HDR.jpg IMG_20190712_183246930.jpg

so had some free time so we pulled the 351w/t5 and started to get the 364/Muncie set in to see how she looks. have shorter water pump on the way. also need to find a 57-58 364 nail head water pump pulley. and sort out mounts. once engine is in place new body will be going on.

Had good couple of nights getting some long over due work done on the 30. We made templates of how we wanted the floor and started cutting out and making the passenger side and figuring out where everything's going to go.
