I have 3 now, all 331s. Two are 1953 extended bells and one is a 1954 4 barrel I just picked up. I am going to use this 331 Hemi as it is the only one not locked up and it runs. Plan on taking the 4 barrel intake and swapping it over. Not sure what else I should use off the 54 engine.

Is there a thread for current early hemi resources ? I did mine back in 1990 and I have managed to keep up with some parts sources but I'm sure I am missing something.

Seems I saw a article somewhere showing a fellow actually
hammer forming the lettering on the covers in question. A very nifty
bit of craftsmanship. I just dont remember the source. I may have
    CRS.

A member on here did it but can't remember who at the moment. I THINK he has them posted on a Hemi valve cover thread here on the HAMB.

EDIT: Just think I remembered who it may have been @scotty t

EDIT: Found Scotty's thread on them https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/interesting-valve-covers.1012564/

EDIT: this shows how it was done https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tech-week-emboss-your-valve-cover.994437/#post-11204384

  10. A Chrysler in a Chrysler. Cm-6 coupe. Its gone through several changes and upgrades over the years. The 354 was carburated then injected. 20130616_202149-2.jpg datauri-file.png 20170717_134846.jpg FB_IMG_1595414682173.jpg The early hemi was replaced with a 498 Keith Black.

I like the early engine version of this ride . I can watch the commercialized version of this engine anytime , latest and greatest multi - million dollar ... but going fast in a 354 is just so much sweeter man. Nice car either way I guess.

  20. I would still be running the 354 if the block held up. I exceeded the limits of several blocks. Nitro is hard on them. With the way they were cracking a bad accident wasn't far away. The kb can handle much more power.

Here is my overrated 354. Putting one in the correct direction is overrated, too.

My avatar shows a mockup block, my original chassis has been strengthened with boxing plates, center x-member for a '32 Ford, ladder bars and Winters QCR, just getting my '31 back from Dale's own Hot Rod Garage - this past March. My photo enclosed shows a '58 Chrysler 392 Hemi going in soon enough.
