Projects Had some cooling issues

  1. hello,to you
    I been having some cooling issues with the desert express.
    Other than that, it runs great and it's been terrorizing Sin City's streets and freeways..

    I use blue painters tape over everything that I want to temporarily block off.
    Highly visible even in the darkest of engine bays. And can easily leave notes on it with a black permanent marker. 'Prime oil first!' and other lovely notes I leave to myself.

    Might want to flush out the radiator a few times and make sure you don't have rag bits stuck in the tubes.

    It rides real nice for needing a suspension rebuild

    I did that ONCE! Plugged the hell out of my new radiator :mad:. Like Mad Mike said, only tape now.

    I’ve seen/heard of rags in the engine, never in the cooling system, now I did leave a plastic plug in a radiator once, er, I mean my friend did...

    Run 100% vinegar for a few days.
    Drain it and do it again until your coolant is clear. Cheap solution.
    Works perfectly.
    Then run some baking soda for a while to neutralize it.
    You’ll smell like a roach coach going down the road.
