    very nice.

too bad we can't enjoy and discuss all aspects of such a nice traditionally styled build here. i bet it's going to go down the road real good.

  2. I would rather look at your "modern" motor in this sled than some of the shitboxes being built and praised on here these days. There are way too many "it's traditional because they built with what they had" metal abominations being posted these days. Apparently seagull shit welds are "just like the 50s bro" tm

Please be more specific in your description of the car .
    ‘39 coupe-a Lincoln Zephyr coupe ?
I see 1937 LZ front fenders, grill and hood, were they grafted to a ‘39 LZ coupe body or something else ?

I only ask because I owned a 1937 LZ coupe from about 1961 until about 1976. I also had a 1937 4 door sedan from about ‘73 until ‘76. It had a really good body and was about 95% complete.

The coupe became a hot rod with a 265 Chevrolet V-8.
    It was a neat car.

    Have fun with yours !!

Did you know 1937 was the first year of production for
    LZ coupes ?

  6. That is one bitchin’ Zephyr! You’ve done it again, even better. Post some more pics.

  7. He was just here in AZ a month ago. We bombed around in the coupe and hung out with ElPalcko and Jerry. His death is greatly exaggerated.

Something like that. I put the '39 Coupe Roof and Dash on a '37.
