    $265 parts and labor for replacing a fly wheel
    is that pretty good or am i getting taken?

    well since that involves pulling the engine or trans, that's a DAMN good price. too bad he's not around me...i could afford to be lazy and pay someone to swap my engines in my daily at that price:p

    Probably about right. You don't have to completely remove the engine or transmission to replace a flexplate on a GM automatic. You can take the tranny bolts out and "cheat" the transmission back far enough to do the job.

    sounds good, I got a price quote of $750 for a new HD clutch installed (same work process and time involved), half that was the parts, the other labor. Decided to do it myself for that price :D

    Thats a great price if hes gonna get under that monster and yank the trans.
    That flywheel is probably pricey too.

    been there done. I bought the tools with the extra money. like getting a free bike lift, impact wrench and big ass sockets.
