Hot Rods 31 Roadster Fenders on 30 Coupe

Hi.

Seeking advice. Will 1931 deluxe roadster front/rear fenders and running boards fit a 1930 coupe without modification?

Yes, all 30-31 fenders are the same.

 

Yes, but if you are a purist remember that the splash apron was two piece in '30 and one in 1931. If you use everything it will work. Some very early '30 fenders had an eyebrow on the front which would only be of concern to a restorer, they will still fit.

Can't put sedan rear fenders on a coupe or roadster. Just sayin. Don't want to confuse anyone.

 

And 30- early 31 pickup rear fenders are also the same as coupe and roadster rear fenders.

 

30 and 31 front fenders, splash pans, and running boards are not the same. But if you have the full set off the same year car, then yes you can use them with either year of body.

 

Oops, sorry, I forgot about all the exceptions to the rule, lol.

 

And 1932 fenders won't fit a 30/31.....or everyone told my uncle........his same roadster 1956/1959....
