Longroofs: nine passenger wagons?

    Mine started as a 6 passenger but found the third seat... I think Mercury actually called it an 8 passenger for '59-'60 but nine do fit!

    I still have not reupholstered the second row split bench but I do have it and will get to it eventually!

    55-57 Chevy and Pontiac both had the 9 passenger with the vent wings in the quarter glass area. As mentioned by another member, they can be hard to find parts for, depending on what part. Probably 90% or more of the parts are somewhat readily available. Especially the Chevy ones.

    My first car was a black 61 four door hardtop (Sport Sedan), had the white stripe just like your Nomad station wagon, a near twin.
    I called them Impala wagons for years until someone said Chevrolet never made an Impala wagon in 1961.
    Curious, does the title call it out as a Nomad?
