Event Coverage Ice fun in Minnesota

What do you do in winter and you need a hot rod fix? Hold ice racing!!!!
I attended these shenanigans today right up until it was shut down by the local authorities for being too large a gathering and not having a permit. I’ll post pics of the cars here and the motorcycles in the Antiquated section.
These are all real steel vehicles being used and having fun.

 

You guys are nucking futs! It’s low 50’s here with a breeze, I’m building up courage to swap the cv axles out on a daily. Mercy

Damn kids !!

 

Sometimes temps like 40 to 50 f feels friggin cold. In fall here when its damp and windy 40f feels friggin worse than today which is about 22f and sunny dry day. Dressed right you can start sweating.
If you go climatized you could handle it too.
The Minnesota on the frozen lake thing, love it wish we did that here plenty of frozen water my way..

It was a good time, but cut way to short. the motorcycles were nuts and the car were great.

 

Seriously...if I had the technical skills to add them to YouTube I would know how to load them here. I am the least tech savvy person I know. I can’t even transfer them from my phone to my PC
