I was buying a 77 C10 parts truck in 2018 in Gatesville TX and they had this old rusty yellow disassembled 37 GMC . I thought it pretty cool. Especially as the second year of GMC truck and it came with a Olds L6 and with later 50's GMC having Pontiac V8's I thought this one if still around later would be a great *** rod with a vintage appearing 389 Pontiac and 9.3 Pont rear ?

Suggest you consider using the ‘edit’ button and amend your post ....deleting the offending word......easy peasy way to fix the problem.

I have always liked the GMC brand’s products.

Go get it, run a 292 six, until you can build a 270 or 302 Jimmy!

You mention 2nd year for GMC. I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly but they've been around a lot longer than 1936. I have a 1929 GMC and they've been around since the teens.

That yellow cab and frame in my first pic could be a T15 or T16 maybe ? I am no expert on the old GMC T14 .. looking at wheel pattern and floating rear axle looks bigger than half ton.

Does that even look like the right chassis and wheels for that truck ?
