Lots more Powerglides out there than there are M-22's, unless the "M-22" is also connected to a "Corvette" motor, like all SBC's are. Have you priced a Pro Mod style Powerglide compared to an M-22? Only the dollar sign is the one similar thing. Now a real man would say he tossed out the M-22, and stuck in a Powerglide; that even sounds kinkier.

LOL! Yea, Yosemite Sam goes by Rudy and drives a 54 Chevy wagon and a 57 Chevy in real life. I’ve actually known him for about 35 years now...well unless you count watching the cartoon version years before that.

I always heard you have to get them young and your a happy man for life, I met Brenda at 13 and we have been married 49 years in May. HRP

 

Man, I'm the opposite. I found my wife on the other side of the country, then after dating found out she grew up 30 minutes from me and her folks were still there. So we live right by both of our parents, which is awesome for the kid, getting to spend time with his grandparents.

Local girls can be a tough deal. I have 3 buddies married to my ex girlfriends, which must suck, because whenever it devolves into an argument, all I have to say is "yeah, well I f***** your wife in high school" and the argument is done.... Lol.

Kudos to you guys, 5th grade. That's a long time to know a person, let alone a spouse. All of the friends I know that married young sadly have divorced. People can change a lot over the years I guess.

 

We both had a long trip to reunite. She ended up in NYC as a professional actor and traveled the country for several years. Even shared a stage with Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) and got to be friends with her to a point they spent a couple Christmases together. I went off and did my thing in the bicycle and hot rod industries. FB got us back together a few months after a HS reunion that I skipped.

 

I figure I should add a pic of my best girl and I. She's my best friend and we have a hell of alot of fun on our adventures.

Back in 1989 during my undercover trooper days. Look about the same now except the hair is silver and a few more wrinkles. No more beard. Tried for one with cars but all of them have modern Trooper cars in them. (I'm not one for getting my photo taken.)
