Thanks, I’ve still got to add a vent fitting and tube to take it out of the truck floor as well Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Some pics of the metal repair on the turtle deck and straightening the rear panel Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Very impressive build, there is something about these T's on A frames. Following along with interest!! JW
Great build. Lots of good ideas and info here. Looking to start on my '26 roadster soon so am definitely following this.
Ok...now you’re making me feel bad for not getting enough done in my stable. Awesome build and impressive workmanship.
Really nice work. Given that these bodies don’t weigh much, what do you think top end will be with the banger?
Awesome project. Metal work looks great!! Bringing her back to life only better!!!! Keep the pics rolling.
Nice job on bun replacement panel. Where did you get your patch panel? Really like seeing the steps to hammer forge your dash.
I just picked up a 26 turtle deck roadster body so I'm really interested in seeing what you've got going here.
Really digging this build. you have done some really kool shit! I’ll post my T roadster build so I can be part of the crowd. I’m running a lengthened T chassis that will be boxed for strength. Drive train will be 276 flatly, T5 and a bronco 9”.
It’s been a long time since I posted anything on here so I just thought I’d give an update. The car has been on the road for a couple of years now. I’ve been driving and enjoying it. It’s quite a fun car with the model A engine in it, but I have an 8BA from a 49 F1 that I’m about to start swapping into it in the next month or two. I’ll have to go through my photos and post some more build pics from the original build and post some from the V8 swap as well
Getting the Model T ready to pull the motor and start the V8 swap. I’m using the kit from Millworks so I can keep the mechanical brakes for now. Eventually it will get the juice brakes and a 39 rear axle. I have a 32 K member for the car so I need to find some 32 pedals for it
Started getting the car ready for the F1 steering box using the flanges from LG Speed and Kustom. I’m going get the V8 in before I finish weld it. It will take a lot of fitting to get the pedal right around the box Also got the motor out of the model T. Getting the Millworks AV8 kit ready to install the V8
What process are you using to form the floor beads? Looks like very nice crisp corners where the bead ends.
Looks great! You probably already know, but you can put the earlier, center water neck heads on this engine to give it a bit earlier look.
