Rod shop Dodge from Auto World... The Willys Gasser has a "mean green" arm and Super 2 magnets plus the A/FX gears.... It screams.. :)

Here's an A/FX chassis with some go fast goodies..... The mean green arm has matching polls (6.0 ohms) and matched strength Super 2 magnets... IMG_20210110_054432.jpg

    Sole survivor A/FX.
Rare that I have only one of anything around here.
    Is that a "hot arm"?

Yep! Sure is.... Green wire and green lams.... Use an ohms meter to check the 3 polls... They should check anywhere between 6-7 ohms... If all 3 check within .2 ohms, you got a winner.... ;)

  11. Trade ya for something cool you can stick in an envelope and mail. Like a vintage racing sticker?
Looks like you could use another project!

  13. My Tico (not Tyco) Electronic Hot Rod Racing Set, still in the box. each car is battery powered and runs in a slotted track. No date on box but probably early to mid 50's.

Something I've been playing around with.... I took the front end off a 4-gear dragster chassis and mounted it on a regular A/FX chassis... That was an easy swap.. still need to do some changes on it.... Problem is, I don't have a body for it... I've thought about cutting up a Cheetah body and turn it into a Comp Coupe dragster....:) IMG_20210111_040605.jpg

First year for the Aurora A/FX chassis.... ©1970 Guess you could call it a prototype... Not many of these floating around.. The chassis came with solid rivets and "GREAT" quality chrome plated Torq-Thrust mags.... IMG_20200204_175137.jpg IMG_20200203_205156.jpg IMG_20210112_000638.jpg

This one also came with solid rivets and the chrome plated Torq-Thrust wheels...

That's interesting. I think it's called a White Lightening. Very limited.

I've never run any auto world cars. All I have are afx super g+ cars, mega g+, and some bsrt cars I built from chassis. How do those auto world cars run?

I confess I'm not hugely into the nostalgic aspect. I like my cars FAST.
