I picked up this bezel today at the LB Hipo swapmeet simply because it looked cool and the price was right.

At first I thought it was a gauge cluster but I think its more likely taillight/license light. I scraped off some paint on the tag and it has Cadillac Type A inscribed. A cursory Gooogle search yielded nothing for me.

Seems awfully compact for a brakelight/turn signal combo but I figured you guys might have a better idea. I'm guessing each lens would cost more than what I paid for the bezel!

    Thanks guys, NAES 20210110_173028.jpeg 20210110_173032.jpeg 20210110_173113.jpeg 20210110_173119.jpeg

  2. It’s a tail light license plate holder probably the left side. Sawoneina thread sometime back.

  3. Here's a '26-'27 Cadillac tail light- pretty close:

Found a pic off of a 1924 Cadillac V-63 Phaeton. Looks pretty close and doesn't have the crown impression like the above pic. Not sure those lenses look correct but what do I know? Guess it makes sense that it would fit inside the spare tire opening. Screenshot_20210110-182409_Samsung%20Internet.jpeg

Would make a danged good gauge pod, if nothing fits the gauges could be mounted in a tapered holder, like frenching them in so to speak
