I would also add: That one should always drink upstream from the herd! And quitters never win, and winners never quit.

It's just like being part of a family. Good natured pokin' in the ribs is all ok, but crossing the line and slapping faces is not. Knowing the line is a good skill to develop..........................;)

    Difficult site? 2021 HAMB?
Oh man, this poor bastard has no clue what it was like back in the day. I lurked for a couple years before I thought I could handle that raging Old Skool Hamber current. What a pussy.
    But this has been entertaining.

The guys at work and I used to say this at any opportunity, and finally one of the management pukes told us it was getting out of hand. At the time Peyton Manning was quarterbacking for the Denver Donkeys, and would yell "Omaha" before the ball was hiked. We adopted "Omaha" as a substitute for "that's what she said".

Mike: "Did you see the Goodyear blimp fly over yesterday?"
Chuck: "Yes I did. That thing is huge!"
    Me: "Omaha."

My wife always takes a long time to get ready for events like birthday parties, meal with friends, etc. so we are usually running late. On the drive over to get tested for Covid last week we're running a bit late for our appointment and I'm driving the speed limit like I usually do.

Wife: "Can you go a little bit faster?"
    Me: (under my breath) "Omaha."

A little early for a beer, no I don't think it is. There are folks on this site with a wealth of information regarding the things we think are cool, that makes wading through the clowns worth the effort.

I see in his profile he is still hanging around here. Maybe it is just a slow exit.

Looking for a steering wheel before he leaves?

I was in the Navy, from '87 to '91, in San Diego, at North Island. The Coronado Bay bridge is a tall sucker, and attracts about one suicide a year. During my stint there, we saw the average suicide attempts, but the majority of them would stop their cars at the top, climb onto the rail, and stay there, contemplating their fate. Most just wanted to call attention to themselves. There was one instance, however, where the guy stopped his car, jumped onto the rail, and pushed off. Blocked traffic for all of 30 seconds. Knew what he wanted to do, and did it without hesitation.
Mr. Mathews seems to be that type. Hasn't said BOO! since he said goodbye, so it looks like he did leave, and isn't coming back to read anything more.
Perhaps we can get back to the regularly scheduled programming?

Tim if you happen to read this - try reading the rules if you haven't.
Takes a certain amount of posts to be able to message anyone.

Let's get back to cars and trucks.
