I have Indian made gauges in an old Inter Tractor, they look nice and still going 7 years later. Made in India is better than Chinese in my opinion.
Not meaning to offend anyone here but.............. I'll take my chances with my "hecho ìn Mexico" S/W winged gauge set. When I see "made in India" whether it's gauge bezels, pistons or doorknobs, all I can picture is a guy sitting cross legged in the dirt hammering out a brass spittoon. Granted, takes talent but............
Just buy the best, Gauges, Custom Gauges, Tachometers, Speedometers, Shift Light, Pod (speedhut.com) made in Utah, USA and you customize to your liking. These are all we sell at our Hot Rod Shop.
I bought a whole bunch of "Sun-Pro" gauges on close-out from Summit a couple of years ago. I mean REALLY cheap, like $2 per gauge. I put them on my engine test stand and in a couple of cars. They all worked really well and were really accurate. Why Summit decided to dump them is beyond me. I even got a bunch of tachometers for the same price; big face little face, black face, and white face. Just sayin'
More laughs in this post than in a Donald Duck Comic Book. Yes, India seems to have become a better choice for some stuff. Even Wally World is going that way. If nothing else, Donald Trump as President, showed that America can just say "No" to Chinese Made Junk. Eff 'em!
Summit didn’t drop Sun Pro, they were bought out by Bosch and are now sold under their name. They were just cleaning house.
