Projects Happy new year?

Alright fellas, what's your main objective for 2021? Just a couple things left to finish? Or is it a new project? Are we gonna be ready when the weather permits to get these cars out? Screw 2020, here's looking forward to better times!!

 

For me it's finish a couple of things then I'm ready. Chop top ,paint,etc. Should be done by may. lol

As I see it, I still have a week left to finish the 42 things I didn't get done on last years wish list!

 

I'm not even worried about paint lol, mechanically ready, cooler in the back, and have some fun hanging out

The 57 wagon is hitting the drag strip this year too, call it a durability test on the rear end, if it breaks, then i know I'll have to change it!

I have a car I like but want to change it. It's a 47 Buick but it doesnt seem to fit in here for some reason. So I hesitate to talk about it. Lippy

I'm going to finally finish my 36 3w after 10-years, 3 major operations, moving 800 miles and building a new shop. I want to drive the car before I die !

I am anticipating my slightly off topic 49 Dodge truck will be street worthy by March or April. I've been driving it in and out of the shop for the last month, its got all the glass in it except the door glass, and as soon as the new already ordered weatherstripping gets here, they too will be in the truck.
Then its details like finishing up the dash, assembling the box, and body work that it can cruise without. I guess maybe I should install a real seat too....
My coupe is ready to roll, and the "new" truck should be close, I foresee lots of miles with smiles this year! The 1st up, The WI Hot Rod 100, May 15th! Gene

 

Well yeah! Wish i lived as close to beech bend raceway as you do!

 

Trying to get everything out of my old place of 40yrs and making room for it at the new Casa which is full up for inside storage. Putting up some carport/sheds to get it all in out of the weather. And working on my projects as time/money allows. Wishing my dad's o' lady will disburse the trust monies she's hording and hasn't mentioned having - he left us coming up on ten years - it would sure help.....sorry about that rant....

The air in the shop's gonna be filled with sawdust and fabric dope, sprinkled, I'm sure, with some new and creative cuss words. That's the year I'm looking forward to, just so I can get my old ass airborne.
