    I had never really looked twice at AV8's, but now as I get older I think they are awesome. I think a big part of it is the tradition and simplicity that goes with them. Plus you guys over there find some amazing time capsules that have been hidden away for years.

    the ford flathead was one of the worst designed engines in history. BUT anybody with half a brain could with a hand full of tools work on one. there is no other engine in history that has made such a powerfull name than the ford flat head V8. 21stud, 24 stud i love them all.

    Now here is a rabbit trail. Let’s rank engines of that era. If the Ford flathead was one of the worst ie at the absolute bottom of the list and we exclude say duesnberg, cord and the packards of the era who made an engine in the same price range that was far superior? Asking for a friend?

    There was a green one that I have always loved, It might have been owned by A-V8 (HAMB member) but it has been awhile since i have seen a pic of it.
