Any comments I could make about that video and about Ed himself would just be repeating what everyone else has already said. Met and talked with him at the 2017 Meltdown Drags - he was there with "Bones" Balogh. Yep, got his autograph and bought a t-shirt, a highlight of the trip.


( No, that's not me shelling out the bucks in the photo. I was an innocent bystander! )

 

Great video! Haven't met the man, but seeing his coupe in person was a spellbinding and inspiring experience for me.

 

Had a 7000 T cam and a blower drive and blower in my 331 gas dragster back when. Ran a lot of his 505 cams in small blocks. What a great guy. Lippy

 

Oh and the Isky rev-master solid cam was a great one too.

 

There's a guy who loves just being here. I hope he gets another 99.
