Projects Edsel radiator

    Best place to get a new radiator for 1959 Edsel Ranger 361 V8? Toying with buying new or having mine repaired.

    There might be some interchange between your Edsel and the '58 & '59 Fords even if not mentioned in a catalog. Someone here will know for sure.

    I think Auto City Classic is where I got my gas tank and they list one. I'll try them Monday.

    This is what they show but don't know for sure if it will fit. The measurements look right. Anyone tried the Ford radiator?

    Description
    This radiator works with the V8 core support (1 1/2" right upper inlet / 2" left lower outlet). New, aluminum direct bolt in radiator. Stock size with dual 1 1/8" rows of cooling tubes for high efficiency cooling. It has a built in automatic transmission cooler. This is stamped with welded construction, no epoxy.

    Fits: 1957-1959 Ford or Mercury fullsize

    Core size: 23 1/4" wide, 18" tall, 2 1/2" thick
    Overall size (widest point): 25 3/4" wide, 24 1/2" tall, 4" thick

    *Polished radiators will take an additional 2 weeks to ship.

    I saw this as well and am thinking of pulling the trigger on one.

    Spooky, I tried it and it didn't fit. Had to ship it back. My fan would hit the tank on the upper passenger side relief. I ended up rebuilding mine for 150$ here in town. I have the 361 V8 if that helps any.

    Re building an orig radiator around here is expensive. I just had an O/T 70 Road runner one done and it was $750. Yeah probably got ripped off. Lippy
