Thanks Butch! I don’t think I need a heavy duty transmission for the 6 cyl, especially if it’s really heavy! I have the trans levers, but looks like it will take some different ones, mine has the knurled studs. Thanks again.
I can only add this superfluous comment: The 66 C-10 with 250-6 and 3-speed that I bought 42 years ago had a non-synchro first gear.
