I’ll start. Somernites Cruise in Somerset, KY happening every fourth Saturday, great show. Usually April through October but this year it’s only July - October. Last month was the first in 2020 and had around 800 cars, August and September are usually strong turnouts. Come by if you local, planning to go in August and September. Good mask and social distancing last month. Great after event cruise on the strip in Somerset along 127 too. Nice little town and fun event if you can make it. Different featured Marque with special parking every month but everything turns out each Month. Just some unofficial gatherings and a few "lets meet at ____ and go for a drive around___" around here. I don't think there has been one actual name event this year here. I took my OT car down 97 to Goldendale Wa a couple of weeks ago and drove with a group of cars to the old Maryhill loop highway (first paved highway in Washington state) that closed except for special events such as the hill climb in the fall and I think the Porsche brigade did a hill climb on it that weekend as there were a bunch of them on trailers decked out in race gear when I was coming back. Just cruise up 2-1/2 miles of real windy road and get out and look at cars and take photos.

For those down this way, the car show & swap meet at Noccalula Falls in Gadsden Alabama called Wheels on the Hill, is still a go for August 28-30 so far.

Fall Fling Mopar show usually in Van Nuys moved to Irwindale this year at the track on Oct 24. Show, Swap and Drag Race. Usually 1200-2200 cars in the town square then a super cruise on 127 after the show. Yes, Fall Carlisle is a go. Yes, many of the 9000 Hershey vendors, and many of the spectators, will probably make it the biggest event on the east coast this year. October 1-3. I’ll be in the infield spaces II 110-111. HERSHEY, is still holding the car show- Saturday only. October 10. I plan to park in my own damm vendor space! Eat Chocolate, not bats. I you want to get down in the weeds, the ATHS is holding their truck show in Winchester, VA. September 25-26. Big trucks, small trucks, all trucks. And there is a swap meet at the EMMR Museum along Rt. 15 south of Dillsburg, PA on October 4. The Museum itself is worthy of a visit. October 6-8, there is a Pre-War Swap Meet in Luray, VA. Finally, on Saturday October 17 ( new date!)- check out the swap meet at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, PA. Part race car parts, part antique auto parts. $5 admission, easy parking, in by 8, out by lunch! Out in the country and the leaves will be turning. After that, give me the vaccine so I can enjoy 2021.
