Technical Diameter of 1934 ford car headlights

I bought a pair of headlights 55 years ago and was told they were 1933-34 headlights. They are 9 1/8 inches in diameter. Does anyone know if this is the right diameter for these headlights. They are painted and have a chrome ring in the front to hold in the headlight.

 

The lens and reflector ads for 1933-34 headlights show 9 inches diameter.

beware !
the '33 headlight bucket is about 1" longer than a '34...
the '34 is shorter as the hood had 2 handles and henry made the light shorter to clear the front handle …
go henry go !

 

And the 33-34 commercial are the shortest bucket for those years.

 

And the rim is stainless steel, not chrome plated.

 

If yours turn out to be anything other than 33 and you want a pair i have them. I'm going to use something else.
