Very nice car, my favorite is the 56 had a chance to buy a very nice one when I was in high school for 300.00 dollars. Today the biggest thing is the price. Shoulda coulda woulda!!!!
I've always liked Nomads. I was lucky to get our's while they were still afordable. I always wanted a 32 coupe too, but I waited too late. Our 56 is just a family driver, but the grandkids and I love it. THAT 57 IS A VERY NICE NOMAD !
The one I posted about was still in it's true form 265, 3 speed converted to floor shift, black paint, white tuck and roll interior, chrome reverse wheels with 56 dog dish caps. I think about that car all the time. I have a all steel 1938 2 Dr Willys sedan that I might trade for 56 Nomad but that would be very hard too, the love for some car makes it totally hard to let them go. I am also building a 61 Chevy Biscayne 2 Dr sedan, so I have two of the cars I have always wanted but a Nomad would finish the list. Oh well life moves on so I guess be happy with what I have and finish them.
@old32 - if you are new to this type of forum... typing in ALL CAPITALS is the equivalent of SHOUTING. Just a friendly hint to use upper & lower case.
