What does FRAM stand for?? What does STP actually stand for?? Can you name the 10 sizes the SBC was offered from the factory for production cars? Where is Wolfman Jack according to the movie American Graffitti? Which states do not have an OCTANE Law "this means what you pump and pay for may not actually be what yer gettin"? Who invented the Monkey wrench?

  6. Dude that is the Sulfar in the broccoli

  7. A little known fact is, there were four designers on the Monkee wrench.
    Micky Dolenz
    Mike Nesmith
    David Jones
    Peter Tork.
After they refined the Monkee wrench, Peter Tork struck out on his own and designed another popular wrench.
    Can you guess which one?

The history of FRAM® dates back over 70 years when the original chemists, Frederick Franklin and T. Edward Aldam, invented an easily-replaceable oil filtering element at their laboratory in Providence, RI. Automotive oil filters of various types had been on the market for nearly ten years, yet were difficult to install, change and clean. Franklin and Aldam, whose last name combination gave rise to the company name, set out to solve these problems with their revolutionary filters.

    thank you fram homepage

The Wolfman inAmerican Graffiti-- the depiction of Wolfman Jack broadcasting live from a local studio in California via a transmitter in Mexico is not accurate. Since provisions of the Brinkley Act forbade cross-border broadcasting, Wolfman taped his show in his Los Angeles studio and then had the tapes carried into Mexico to be broadcast from XERB's 50,000 watt transmitter site the following day.

Charles Moncky invented the monkey wrench around 1858.

A London blacksmith named Charles Moncke. It was originally called a Moncke's Wrench, which morphed into Monkey Wrench.

As I recall, my '68 Nova SS came with a 350, advertised at 295 bhp. (From the "Cars I Wish I'd Kept" file.)

STP stands for Scientifically Tested Product - not petroleum

so...what was the first US automobile to meet or exceed 1hp/cu in??? and what year...and what size engine/hp rating?

who made Mopars first 4spd trannies for passenger cars in the late 50s/early 60s?

what was the first year Corvette offered multiple carburetion? which engine?

what was first year a 4spd was an option in any GM passenger car?
