Technical Need info on Torque flight 727 trans.

    Some manual valve bodies apply the band in low, others don't, you want one that does, so you're not relying on the roller clutch to hold it...when that roller clutch slips, the direct drum spins really fast and can come apart violently.

    Yeah they should always have a bolt in one way clutch at a minimum. I do know of one in a road runner drag car with a trans brake when he let go of the button the direct drum went thru the dashboard with a blanket on it. Car now has a glide in it. Lol
