I just bought a 47 Chevy Fleetmaster that has a Nova front clip. The P.O has installed some steel pie cutters with skinny wide whites. The issue I have is when I turn to full lock in either direction the tires are rubbing on the edge of fender opening. The car has been lowered and the tires sit up in the fenderwells. Is it possible to use a port a power ram and push out the fenderwell to make some room. I just need about an inch. This isn't a show car, just an old primer covered beater that I want to make my driver

Don't see why not. I had a '46 Coupe with wide tires and fenderwell headers, and actually used just
muscle power to pull out the fender slightly to give me an inch.

You can get those fender well tools that bolt on to the hub . They radius the fenders out.

  5. I think you can buy narrow A Frames for the Nova unit.
