Really glad to hear you got the Merc out, also really liked the t-bird! Sorry I couldn’t make it but hope to see you on the spring. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
David Ramey's 'aged' pic shot from overhead is my new screensaver. Awesome!! Thanks for posting, Mick. I borrowed another shot you posted for my new avatar. @Thor1 said about my pics, "you have a good eye". Thanks, but I have to give credit to Mickey. Most all car pics I have are typical mundane 3/4 shots. I did some straight on front/rear shots in Dewey, but the way Mickey and Straykat friends parked the cars out in front of StrayKat world headquarters and Two Tall Okies sign shop just begged for some of those different perspective shots. The shots from the roof are really reminiscent of the old Watson shop photos. I don't think this is by accident. Thank you @straykatkustoms for such a great show. Could have knocked me over with a feather at awards time.
Congrats on the award, your '54 Chevy is a purrfect example of a Mild Kustom. Wish we saw more of them running around. We have been taking photos from the top of Travis (Two Tall Okies) shop for years. Its a different view than we are use to seeing. The first year for the Lead Ain't Dead, Travis went to his roof to take some pics and we were floored by the kool view. Like all of us we have been to a lot shows and it seems like everyone is parked in a single straight line. Kustoms are works of art and I thought it would be kool to see them together but parked different angles. @54delray its kool that you brought up Watson shop photos. We are trying to copy the same aspect. Our plan is to continue the kustom chaotic parking into the streets. It's kool to see how the show is growing. 1st year. 2nd year This year
