I was going to say: Nice artwork, wrong medium.

However, I can't even say "nice artwork. It is really, the wrong medium. It should go on the walls of some baby's room with a crib and other baby things. But a CAR?

I couldn't even say they had BAD taste. They have no taste at all. I'm old enough to have been an adult in the '70's and this would have been in bad taste in the '70's, really BAD taste.

Will Rogers was correct when he said that common sense wasn't so common. Or was it Mark Twain? Its too late to go look it up on Google.

If this was a race car that really ruled, -all the seventies murals and the cuddly, cozy, bunny, bambi-theme would be funny as hell.
Somehow its the wheels and the interior that kills the joke.

    Cool Capri!

What the hell happened to all of those cars anyway? They were everywhere in the 70's. I always liked 'em. Would make a cool SCCA car.

Appearance of this car now has signaled the End Of Days as foretold in the bible...

    It's just paint.
It'll sand off and the car can be painted Midnight Blue to go with the seats.
At least they didn't do this to it...

I was talking to a guy here at work that has known the current owner for 30 years.
That is NOT a recent build. Just looking at the STYLE of airbrushing used tells you this.
I've got some older 70's Hot Rod/Car Craft magazines and there were ALOT of cars built like this. All to get more ISCA show points.

    Thanks.

I know the car is Off Topic, but since we were discussing '70s style...:D

Some parts are really hard to find.
Like the correct Fender Flares, and the old style 3 piece Mesh Wheels in the right offset.

About the Car that started this Thread...
To me, murals always fuck up the lines of the car ( or bike...)
And I'd rather have a Steel dash in front of me than shards of glass...
That car didnt age very well.

And neither will a number of cars that were at, say, VLV this year.

  16. So is the owner's wife also his boyfriend or something?

Other than being so gay (and not in a good way) it looks like pretty typical lowrider stuff. Are '63-4 Impalas so expensive now it's cheaper to build one starting with a Plymouth?

I wasn't awake enough to look at that; before I opened this thread, I was hungry. So much for that...

Sorry but, that has got to be the ugliest sum bitch I have ever seen. The only thing I can think it would be good for is target practice, with Bambi and all. Come on, they did this to a GTX....unbelievable disgrace to Mopar guys. I hope you pissed on his tires!:D

  24. One of one, gentlemen, it's definately one of one.

You have to remember that the 1970s stretched endlessly to the horizon in all directions.

We suffered horribly through that time.

easily primered (EVEN GREY)over then the gutted interior replaced with black repops...
steel wheels and dog dish caps..even a 383 would be ok

then some one will find this pic you guys saved and the restoration to its pinnacle will start over.... USIN THE CLOSE UP AS GUIDES FOR THE RESTORATION ..
    STOP IT NOW
EVEN IF THEY ARE GENERAL LEE CLONE CHARGERS INSTEADT OF GTX'S

Delete all pics remove hard drives and destroy!!!!!!!
evil is creepin around in the form of Thumper GTX.

Hey, did you guys notice in the background you can see Snow White going down on Cinderella? Man that is crass for a car with a "kids" theme.
