    Back in 69-70 when I worked at the local Sunoco station, I hated those low mounted filler necks that were behind the spring loaded license plate. You had to rush and clean the windshield,check the oil and try get back before the pump kicked off. Occasionally the entire pump handle would kick out of the filler neck.

    What a great build. The constraint comment is so true. Clean work with some hidden tricks looks like it coulda been factory. I keep going over the pics.
