Outstanding car and story! Best part is as a reader, immediate gratification. Pile of near perfect parts to a driving car with videos in less than half a dozen posts. Tim, you just won the internet.

Great car but you do need to drop that front axle.

You are one lucky dude, what a find! My only issue is the two cowl vents. They are positioned to bring in all the hot air and odors from the motor that come out the hood louvers. I know of one guy that had a '48 Ford and when he louvered the hood, couldn't use the cowl vent anymore because of engine heat being sucked back into the car.

Congratulations on a great find and a great story. I am originally from the Winton/Atwater/Merced area of the San Joaquin Valley. It really made me smile to see the car out on the country roads, and the segment of country road, racing, that could have just as easily been out on Jones road and Mercedes ave. out by my folks old house in almond orchard territory. Its clear that the car found you, and in my opinion, it should stay with you!

You are definitely living right. Living in the central valley where you can still drive or race on rural roads through fields, orchards, and groves. Throw in a couple of OT English cars and an awesome salt flats car just to sweeten the deal in case your roadster find wasn't enough.

Great car, great story and even a “Parts with Appeal” shot, very cool. Ditto on the comments about driving the country roads out there, it sure does have a peaceful beauty.
I’m beginning to think that every machine shop has compressor parts laying on the floor somewhere, must be a lot of dead compressors in central Ca.

Tim has found the ideal car, a Model A roadster, in previously restored condition.
I've found a few, but never this nice.
Great pics and videos, (the rapid accel one will show some of the newer guys how these 'A Bones' could run, back in the day.)
    Great goin' as usual, Tim!
