I don’t remember which magazine I first read about it but I think I read the article about 10 times! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I just bought another '55 Straight axle car, I will be trying my best to make it more correct to the '60sFenderwell headers and rear wheel and tire to start with, then begin on the motor stuff, It has a new small block and a manual trans with a 9" rear, So it has a good start
The 225 or 245 HP version? Either way, beautiful car and setup. I can NEVER get enough of the 56 Chevrolet's. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
Sorry fellas... This is the only picture I have of this one..... Nice huh????... Yeah, I thought so too.... That's why I posted it on here... Credit goes to the guys on Model Cars Magazine for posting this one on their forum....
No fear Deuces, I have this one and a second pic. I shot them both at Rt 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois on May 17, 2008 at 11:18 am, then edited it on May 19, 2008. Editing consisted of removing every oil spot on the tarmac, and eliminating body reflections on the door above the molding. I'm not giving you grief, there's no way you would have known, but good photos should be credited to the shooter and in this case, that's me. Here's the second pic.
I gotta say, it looked MUCH BETTER in one color than it does today... The Candy Red and Gold combo reminds me of Ketchup and Mustard, kinda like a Hot Dog! The only thing it's missing is the Pickle Relish and the Celery Salt!
