Went to Frames ( Hanb handle) shop in Concord NC. Wow, well here are a few pics , had so much to see , only snapped a few.
Frames has some interesting pieces! Always has great stuff in the classified, too. That Hudson coupe looks impressive and has some great names associated with it. Thanks for the share, Carp.
Thanks , wasn't sure if loading them big made file too big , can viewers click on thumb and enlarge as I can or should I reload all ? Btw got a video of a car running and file is too big , I have an android and wasnt sure how to shorten video or whatever to download.
Big files can be an issue. Just click on "full image" just before you hit "post reply" and the images will be bigger, not thumbnails.
Man I'd work a week for free up there if I could get away , just to learn and get to see all these cars.
He said he hand shaped these rails with a torch and hammer to get them to follow the contour of the car. Started out strait channel stock with a 1 inch radious on the bottom outer edge.
Visited Dennis this spring while picking up and delivering some Flathead’s. What a great guy. Mid 80’s and still at it. He has some impressive stuff in his collection. An old hot Rodder who built everything himself. He also builds a mean ass flathead too. Thanks for sharing.
Dennis is a very, very talented man........and he has the perfect foundation for the "traditional" vehicles he is currently building.........he built REAL race cars back in the day !
